I ordered my Top Flite XL 7000 18 club set a while back and am enjoying my game with these hybrid beauties since then. With the ease and distance I have experienced with these golf clubs, I thought about putting up this review which will explain what the package consists and how it actually feels playing with them.

My Top Flite XL 7000 Design
I got my Top Flite XL 7000 set shipped from Amazon’s online store. The Delivery was as promised. Being used to carry bigger bags, I did not like the bag at the beginning as it was a bit narrow. But the set consisted of every club that a professional golfer ever needs, So the bag size is not a worry any more. On the contrary, I actually find it very convenient during handling now.
This was the first time that I actually bought a complete set instead of trying mixed clubs as I am always on a low budget and never really managed to buy those expensive all in one sets before. But these were extraordinarily cheap for the price, as entire set cost me a $400 with shipping. I have bought a lot of clubs before so I can confidently say that no other brands dare to sell such solid golf clubs at this low price. As they are Callaway related brand, so I expected good solidity right from the time when I made a purchase.
What does the Top Flite XL 7000 18 set consist of? It can be described as a complete package in one case. It contains 18-piece set of golf clubs which are made by using a perfect combination of top flite steel, stainless steel, cast iron and the Titanium composite steel.
Details of the contents inside the magic golf bag of Top Flite XL 7000 18 and what is my experience with them so far:
1. A 460cc titanium composite driver with a graphite shaft to increase swing speed and it has a large sweet spot area which maximizes the power, distance and speed in my shots.
2. 2 stainless steel fairway woods which have helped me hit longer and straighter shots.
3. Pair of easy-to-hit chrome steel 4H and 5H hybrids, which ensure great shots from a variety of lie and lofts angles. I am not the best golfer but still I get consistently good shots.
4. 6 perimeter-weighted stainless steel irons which feel smoother and increase the ease due to their lower center of gravity (CG). They have a deep back channel which takes care of the CG.
5. It also includes 5 club head covers for hybrids, drivers and woods., and
6. Bag Description: Very compact and lightweight stand bag fixed with dividers on whole length and comes with a handy rain hood cover.
The clubs included in the set are a Driver, 3W and 5W, 4H and 5H, club 6,7,8,9, SW, PW and a putter. All these clubs come with subtle variations in the loft and lie angles, covering a lie angle from 58 to 69 degree and loft angle of 4 to 56 degree. So it takes a lot of guessing and confusion out of picture as to which clubs to choose for what shots, as all the clubs are available in a single bag.
Top Flite XL 7000 Review and Selection:
My fellows at the course noticed an improvement in my game in less than a month. I was able to add 10 yards to my hits. But I do not know if that was solely due to the Top Flite XL 7000 clubs or due to the other tweaks I made to my technique. I feel like it has been a wise investment so far and would definitely recommend it to any starters and intermediates that are likely to spend thousands of dollars trying other clubs like I did before.
Top Flite XL 7000 is available in sets for both, right handed and left handed men golfers.
Special Note: Top Flite XL 7000 is also available in sets of 10, 13 and 15 clubs, but they lack a few essential clubs and I will not recommend to be careful not to end up buying set except the 18 club set, as you will never need to purchase any club ever again once you go with the 18 piece set.

Purchased my set about two months ago. I am a left handed golfer and trying to find a solid set at an affordable price is a hard task. This set has met and exceeded all my expectations. It is the 18 set. The driver and woord have such a large sweet spot and so much forgiveness. The hybrids as much easier to hit than long irons, and the wedges do everything I want them to. Although it is a daunting task to get some spin from the wedges. My favorite things about this set are the irons. They are so smooth and consistent. I am not a great golfer but I can contend with friends. I about 10 over through 18. The worst thing in the set is the putter. I just do not fell that it is a solid and consistent as the rest. If you are a recreational golfer on a budget then this is your set. You will not be disappointed.
There are rumors of the driver head flying off after the first round, but mine has held up to over 4 rounds and long sessions at the range. So buy with confidence. Hope this helps

You are right about the driver head thing being stable. Afterall rumors are just that, rumors.
I have no problems with it so far as well.
This iron set has been a big help for me so far and I am enjoying the smoothness so far.

I was looknig at this set on ebay in new condition. I’m in the market for a new set of clubs, how big are the clubs in terms of height.

The height of these clubs are perfect for me. I am 175 cm tall, which is 5 feet 9 inches.
I guess it will be perfect for most of the people around 5 feet 7 inches till 6 feet.
But I personally prefer using amazon over ebay.
Some of my friends have had horrible experiences shopping with ebay.
Return are a real pain in the axx.
On the contrary, i have never had a bad experience with amazon at all.
So if you haven’t got them yet, Amazon might be the place to get these.

Back in the swing of things. Bought the 18 pc set about 1 month ago they are great. Only problem im 5’3″ and they are really made for someone that is closer to 6′. Would recommend the 18 pc. set to anyone. Question is wife wants to learn how to play what is a great starter set for women?

Although it may sound odd, but my gf started learning golf playing with my Callaway Driver.
And she really progressed very fast.
So it is not necessary for girls to start with irons and light weight stuff.
They will get used to what clubs they start using and practising with.
But if you really want a special set for her, then Callaway Solaire is a perfect match for any girl.

I am strongly considering getting the top flite xl 7000 clubs, however, I am a bit on the taller side, I am 6’3. I was wondering if there is a similair set for taller players?

You can go for the Top Flite XL 7000 clubs as well, if you like them.
My friend is 6 feet 1 inch and has no problem using this set.
Since you are around 2 inches longer, It should not be a big problem.
You can actually give it a try first if any of your golf partners has it.

Moved from the north to the south and my wife did not pack my golf clubs. She set out to find me a new set and came home with the Top Flite XL 7000. These are the best set of clubs i have had in a long time. Been playing since hihg school golf team and i am 40 years old. The driver head is still on my shaft never have had a problem with it. Irons are great for me i swing fast and hard. My 16 year old son has used them 4 times and he is rough on a set of clubs. He needs his own and i will be getting him a set of the XL7000 for christmas. Have seen reviews saying great beginner set, i laugh. Its a great set period.

It is one of the sets that everyone, I mean everyone on the course just speaks highly off. Never have I heard a person complaining on moaning over his decision. That is always a good sign about the set;s performance.
